Plastic strap – stronger, higher grade, and cheaper than ever!
Whereas until a few years ago steel strapwas the only truly reliable and strong offer for the packing of relatively heavy and large loads, we now have the opportunity to choose from a huge variety of plastic strapping for different applications. In our portfolio, you will find 3 different types of plastic straps, which will meet all your requirements!
Polyester strap
Polyester strap, or PET for short, is one of the most widespread polymers, which is used in many different industries – from the production of clothing to beer bottles and food products.
In our case, we have a plastic strap strapping made of polyester, which is almost as strong as metal straps. Plastic straps offer you many different priorities over metal alternatives, as the products made of polyester have a wide distribution and application. Polyester straps are cheaper and more affordable, reducing your costs for packing. It is important to note that a lower price does not mean a compromise in quality.
The polyester plastic strap is almost as strong as the steel ones, but it is significantly more flexible and easy to handle. Especially in the case of extreme loads. Polyester straps are very resistant to external weather conditions, even with prolonged exposure to sunlight. And the versatility of polyester non-metallic straps allows them to be used with both hand tools and automated packaging systems.
Plastic polypropylene strap
Polypropylene is one of the lightest materials used in various industries around the world. It is not by chance that it has made its way as one of the most widely distributed and used plastic strap tapes in the world. The material combines the best of the properties of metal and plastic strap- it is light and extremely flexible, non-corrosive, cheap, and suitable for each business. We are sure you’ve seen plastic polypropylene strapping when you’ve received furniture, printed materials, or books. This type of plastic strap is the most common, as it is used when packing light to medium-heavy loads. The most common application of a plastic polypropylene strap is when packing cardboard boxes. The advantage of this type of plastic strap is that the material is up to 100% recyclable! Thus, you will effectively reduce your mark on the planet without compromising your work.
Plastic textile strap
Last but not least is the plastic strap. Made of polyester fabric, that gives you the strength of steel variants in combination with the flexibility and elasticity of plastic straps. Its technological characteristics for shrinking and losing allow the plastic textile strapping to cope perfectly in shocking situations and impacts, without the risk of tearing or breaking the integrity. Just like the other non-metal straps, these do not rust and can be exposed to various weather conditions. This type of plastic strap is suitable for handling and strapping miscellaneous goods, as the strength depends mainly on the width of the plastic strap. Ever since its introduction to the market, this plastic strap has become the preferred choice for all sorts of heavy-duty activities – organizing orders, arranging and stacking pallets, and a lot of other things. These straps allow manual tightening as well as use with specialized tools and machines.
